On October 21, 2023, in the auditorium of the Kirchliche Hochschule (KiHo) Wuppertal, seven graduates of the postgraduate program Master of Theological Studies (MThSt) received their certificates from program director Prof. Dr. Michaela Geiger. Access to Ministry for Working Professionals Currently, 32 more students are pursuing the MThSt degree at KiHo-Wuppertal. The MThSt program is recognized as a second pathway to ministry in all regional churches of the EKD (Evangelical Church in Germany). It is designed for working professionals with an academic background who wish to study theology for various reasons, including personal interest, obtaining a theological qualification, or becoming a pastor.
