Prof. Dr. Markus Mühling, Rector of the Kirchliche Hochschule Wuppertal and Chair of Systematic Theology, along with Prof. Dr. Claudia Janssen, Chair of New Testament and Theological Gender Studies, have joined more than 250 other leaders in theological science and churches in signing a climate petition to the government. „We align with the judgment of nearly 80 legal scholars that Germany is legally and constitutionally obligated to achieve the climate protection goals of Paris 2015 and to adopt effective measures for their implementation,“ states the petition, which can be viewed and signed in full here.
