Spiritual Identity Performance

An Exploratory Study on Teacher Habits in Evangelical Denominational Schools
As popular churches and other institutions that have been considered stable for decades are eroding, a wide variety of old and new religious providers are bustling about on the growing spiritual market. In this social metamorphosis, people face the challenge of stabilizing their own professional identity, or even finding it in the first place. This evokes practical-theological research needs that are ecologically differentiated. For this purpose, this book presents the results of an interview study with teachers from Evangelical denominational schools as an expressive field of exploration and it discusses them against the background of the current challenges of profession-specific, spiritual identity performance of the present.
